Dunajec^® openwork panel

DUNAJEC® openwork panels are also called “green parking”. They have small lawn openings of 5×5 cm, allowing excess water to drain into the ground.
Natural land drainage and filtration by water is very important in terms of reducing the problem of flooding. Areas that are 100% asphalted are spaces that prevent water from being drawn in. In addition, when they are built next to the river, then the water, which would have fallen on the soil without additional pavement, flows over the concrete, and therefore the river takes in much more water than before.
With the use of openwork panels, the ground is partially exposed, and rainwater soaks into it without stopping on the surface.
The percentage of land cover and biologically active area is important here. The DUNAJEC® openwork panel, thanks to the space in the openings, provides it in the proportion of 31%.
The free space of this particular kind, depending on your needs, can be filled with fine grit and aggregate, garden soil, or even planted with grass.
Thanks to the small holes, reefed edges and a thickness of 10 cm, the use of slabs makes it possible to achieve surface stability, accept heavy loads and convenient passage. The slabs are particularly recommended for paving squares, parking lots and garage accesses.
